Wipeout Command Autocad

Wipeout not working autocad

Autocad Wipeout Transparency Background To creates a polygonal area that masks underlying objects with the current background color. The wipeout area is bounded by a frame that you can turn on or off. You can also choose to display the frame on screen and have it hidden for plotting. I have a number of connections point that I have to run pipe to and to make this easier to see I use AutoCAD wipeout command to block these areas so you can see the connection point. Everything looks good, but when we make PDF files the area designated by the wipeout frame is plotted like it has a heavy hatch pattern.and this occurs at each.

I am using AutoCAD LT 2009.
Every time we use the wipeout command with text it prints fine when printing to paper. When we try to print to PDF, and print the PDF to paper, the 'wipeout' area turns black and you can't read the text underneath. Basically, print CAD to paper- fine. Print CAD to PDF- looks fine on the screen. Print that PDF to paper- wipeouts turn black.
This has happened to several drawings, and several other people when printing our PDF files.
Any suggestions? Does this sound like a CAD problem or a PDF problem (layers?)

Using wipeout command you can clean background in a crowded drawing to make overlaying objects clear against the background. In the image shown below Wipeout command has been used to clean the area around the second hook. You can use WIPEOUTFRAME system variable and change its value to 0 to remove wipeout frame boundary also.-DWGUNITS. Is there anything CONTROLs for wipeouts in viewports?
Situation: I opened a file with wipeouts in model space. The areas are wipe(D)out when viewed in both model and paper space. The areas I am wiping out are on an Xrefed contour line. Initially, in both Model and Paper spaces, the Wipouts were okay. However, in paperspace, I went into the model space view to change the color of the object I was wiping out, and panning. After these applications, the Wipeout area was not wipe(D)out again. When I switch to he model view, the Wipeout area was fine. Out of curiosity, I created a new viewport and found out that the Wipeout is okay. So the first viewport would not keep the Wipeout properties.
In model space I 'messed' around with the Wipeout to have it 'disturbed'. But when I do the Regen-all function, the Wipeout stays wipe(D)out. But through the paperspace viewport, the Wipeout won't be on. Regen all does not fix it.
I was wondering if there is any controls (as in Visretain) for wipeouts.
