He knew my operating system limits and knew that Mavericks and the current iMovie v.10.0 would not work on my macbook. Even the order confirmation/ receipt said 'iMovie '11 single unit'. My version is 10.11.6, which I understand is the most up to date my mid 2009 MacBook Pro is capable of using.
